Masonry Accessories

We offer a full compliment of masonry wire reinforcement products and accessories.

Adjustable Tie
Shown here, adjustable rectangular ties are available in 3/16" or 1/4" mill galvanized or hot dip galvanized steel. Space 12" vertically, 16" horizontally.

Anchor
Shown here, the HCL-711 anchor is adapted from the RJ-711 and has two new pointed prongs which pierce wallboard and abut to backup (steel stud). 14-guage prongs allow little or no compressible movement where wallboard may deteriorate. Useful in high wind environments and seismic areas III and higher where wallboard is installed between steel stud and insulation.

Hook & Eye
Shown here, the single sided hook & eye is an adjustable system that allows continuous wall reinforcement. Available in truss or ladder design, all hooks and eyes are made of 3/16" diameter wire.

Hook Shield
Hook shields offers a new approach for catching and suspending inadvertent mortar droppings. It installs easily with adjustable systems including hook & eye, triangle, and adjustable tab on any veneer anchoring system. Accommodates any size cavity and may be used on very high walls.

Wire Clip
Wire clip conforms to requirements of Unifrom Building Codes for seismic zones. Continuous wire is embedded in mortar joint, secured to tie anchor which is fastened to support structure. It adds stability and protects against problems associated with thermal expansion and contraction. Wire clip also provides more uniform distribution of lateral forces.

Flashing
Copper flashing is self-adhering and self-sealing and offers excellent puncture and abrasion resistance. It is designed to heal itself is damaged slightly during installation, since the adhesive system will elongate and recover. Copper flashing offers high temperature stability.

Type 1 Mortar
Type 1 is a general purpose portland mortar suitable for all uses when the special properties of other types are not required. Basic use: Portland mortar is used in pavements and sidewalks, reinforced concrete buildings, bridges, railway structures, tanks and reservoirs, culverts, water pipes, pre-stressed concrete, pre-cast concrete, ready mix, stucco, shotcrete, gunite and masonry units.

Type S Mortar
Type S (in the U.S. & Canada) provides excellent workability and is suitable for masonry construction requiring higher flexural bond and compressive strengths. Masonry cements may also be used to produce stucco. When properly proportioned, mortar cement produces mortar with flexural strengths comparable to portland-lime mortars.

Type N Mortar
Type N provides excellent workability and is suitable for all masonry construction. Type N is used to produce type 10 mortar. Masonry cements may also be used to produce stucco. When properly proportioned, mortar cement produces mortar with flexural strengths comparable to portland-lime mortars.
